Day 1

Lightning Class Savants

Coconut Grove and the Coral Reef YC are beautiful and Tropical.  Our NC house plants thrive outdoors and become tree like here.  The Lightning fleet is smaller this year 32 boats unfortunately the boats we seldom if ever beat are here.  Our finishes : 27, 25.5 & 18.  The after racing debrief from those at the front revealed that somehow they saw the left side with good pressure and flatter water but only in the top half of the weather leg.  Will ask tomorrow how they see that.  I think they are savants.
